What do you like about science?

Well, actually, I do not know a lot about science. In the SUBLIME project I’m supporting the consortium with all administrative and financial issues. No scientific background is needed for that.

If you had not become a scientist, what would you be today?

As I did not become a scientist, I am what I am: an assistant. An assistant for the consortium partners, the project as a whole, and for all other issues within the company.

What is your favorite place at work? Outside work?

In the office I love to be at the front desk, knowing exactly what is going on in the company in order to assist all in the best way possible. Outside of work, my favorite place is a dancefloor. Preferably with a partner, twirling around to Latin music, like Zouk, Salsa, Bachata, etc.

What is your role in the SUBLIME project?

In the SUBLIME project, I’m supporting the coordinator and the consortium with all administrative and financial issues.

How do you think will the results of SUBLIME contribute to a more sustainable world? How will the world be different after SUBLIME?

As so many different companies are working together to achieve the set goals, I know for sure that better results will be acquired than would be the case if just one organization would try it. This cooperation is the part I love in these kinds of projects.

What research are you conducting at your institution and how is it applied in the SUBLIME project?

Since its start in 1994, Uniresearch has become a successful and independent grants & innovation consultancy firm specialised in national and European grants in the field of innovation, research, and technological development. With a diverse portfolio of clients across Europe we advise on grant opportunities, prepare and submit grant applications, and take care of the administrative process. Our services range from grant consultancy and grant coordination to project management and dissemination activities. For the SUBLIME project, we were involved during the proposal writing and followed up in the GAP phase and with project management when the proposal was successfully evaluated for funding.
