What do you like about science?

Science has the power to connect people from various professions with the aim of creating a better future. This is the synergy of knowledge that motivates and drives progress.

If you had not become a scientist, what would you be today?

Perhaps a teacher or instructor of a healthy lifestyle, or a painter.

What is your favorite place at work? Outside work?

I don’t have a particular favorite place at work. The most important thing for me is to have everything I need to focus on my work. Additionally, this activity provides maximum flexibility by allowing me to decide between home office and the MIMITech office. Outside of work, I enjoy taking nature walks or jogging.

What is your role in the SUBLIME project?

Representation of the project, Task Management, and Administration.

How do you think will the results of SUBLIME contribute to a more sustainable world? How will the world be different after SUBLIME?

SUBLIME, through its comprehensive strategy, aims to make significant contributions towards reducing environmental pollution and mitigating the greenhouse gas effects throughout the entire product life cycle.

What research are you conducting at your institution and how is it applied in the SUBLIME project?

MIMI Tech’s contribution to the project will be to provide the baseline for the recycling technology to close the loop between battery production, use phase, and resource recovery. The biggest challenge will be not only to find a recycling route for the materials used in the new battery system, but to prove the sustainability of the materials’ life cycle as a whole.
