What do you like about science?

About science I like formulas and equations, because I find interesting in understanding how the different phenomena are influenced by the parameters characterizing them.

If you have not become a scientist, what would you be today?

I think I would be a woodworker.

What is your favorite place at work? Outside work?

My favorite place at work is the lab, outside work it is probably the garden outside my house.

What is your role in the SUBLIME project?

My role in SUBLIME is mainly focused on cell aging testing and cell modeling.

How do you think will the results of SUBLIME contribute to a more sustainable world? How will the world be different after SUBLIME?

SUBLIME results can help the substitution of commercial Li-ion batteries using safer and more performant metallic lithium batteries.

What research are you conducting at your institution and how is it applied in the SUBLIME project?

My research is focused on modeling of Lithium-ion batteries using P2D theory developed by Neuman, Doyle and Fuller. Inside SUBLIME in WP7 it is required to develop a P2D model for SUBLIME cell considering metallic lithium as anode and the solid state electrolyte.
