The Batteries European Partnership Association (BEPA) was officially launched on 14 December 2020 and already counts over 130 members from the European battery community. Among those are many from the SUBLIME consortium: FEV (the SUBLIME coordinator), ABEE, SAFT, SOLVAY and Umicore are among the industry members, while AIT, CEA, CICE, Fraunhofer and Politecnico di Torino are research members. Together with the other BEPA members, they will play a leading role in shaping the future of European battery research, innovation and regulation.

BEPA’s vision is “to establish by 2030 in Europe the best in the world innovation ecosystem to boost a competitive, sustainable and circular European battery value chain and to drive the transformation towards a carbon-neutral society.” As such, it is in support of European Green Deal and an official candidate in the Horizon Europe Partnerships in climate, energy and mobility.
