I like to explore the world, as it is, find new relationships and update my knowledge about it. I like to overcome challenges, analyze my mistakes and achieve goals. Science satisfies all these positions.
Apart from chemistry, I like mathematics and linguistics. I doubt if I could work in the related fields, but probably computer coding could combine these two passions.
It depends very much on my state and mood. Usually, I like active work, “with hands”. In this case, I like to stay in the lab, working with my samples or helping my teammates. In other situations, I prefer calmer activities, such as calculations of the data or planning future work.
The same is true for my life out of the work. I like to combine sport activity (cycling, jogging) with relaxation at home.
I perform studying and optimization of the materials for Sublime, interfacial characterization in model cells, revealing of the degradation mechanisms and upscaling of the technology towards the industrial requirements.
I suggest that the research carried out in the framework of Sublime could provide a good understanding of the challenges associated with solid-state batteries, and suggest new routes for overcoming these obstacles. This may be valuable for other researchers working with sulfides or other types of solid electrolytes. Also, I hope that some of Sublime results could have an impact on the existing technologies and reduce the risks associated with the traditional lithium-ion batteries.
I´m studying the phenomena relevant to solid-state materials and respective interfaces. This work includes the electrochemical characterization and search of relationships between the electrochemical characteristics with structure, microstructure and mechanical properties of the materials. This is especially important in the framework of Sublime project since the behaviour of cells with sulfide-based electrolytes is substantially governed by the interfacial effects.
